We are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineering Consultant to join our Calibre Foundry/SEMI Manufacturing Solutions team. As a key member of our high-performing Application Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Calibre-based RET/OPC and Mask solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Software Development**:Collaborate with the product team to develop software prototypes addressing computational lithography and advanced mask challenges using Python/TCL, Calibre API, and the Calibre DRC/OPC Platform.
- **Technical Presentations and Training**:Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms.
- **Customer Engagement and Support**:Drive the adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibre products from design through mask production. Provide support to our leading-node customers in US and Europe.
- **Engage with Cutting-Edge Technology**:Work with advanced technology nodes.
- **Innovate and Implement**:Test, customize, and deploy new features in collaboration with the product team.
- **Showcase Value**:Demonstrate our product’s capabilities and contribute to sales initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Applied Math, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant industry experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree with over 15 years of industry experience is preferred.
- **Experience**:Experience in simulation, software prototyping, software development, and machine learning is desired.
- **Programming Skills**:Intermediate to advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TCL, or C/C++ is desired.
- **Analytical Skills**:Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a self-motivated curiosity about AI and advanced semiconductor manufacturing are required. Knowledge of photolithography, including optics, resist modeling, mask synthesis, mask and wafer metrology and inspection is a plus.
- **Communication Skills**:Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills are essential, as this role involves direct interaction with customers.
- **Teamwork and Attitude**:Strong team player with a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
