**Roles & Responsibilities**
The student care teacher is responsible for the care and development of school-age children, including daily supervision of the children's schoolwork and studies, as well as planning activities for them during the school holidays. The teacher is to take care of the students’ needs and maintain a conducive, healthy and safe environment.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- To support the Principal in developing new Standard Operating Procedures for the student care centre.
- To support Principal to research on the development of future student care centres when the need arises
- Maintain exemplary standards of organization, teaching, planning, time management, professionalism and effective learning.
- To support Principal to review and propose new student care curriculum on a yearly basis.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities while ensuring the overall safety and welfare of each student.
- Supervise and guide students in their daily schoolwork and study including student care’s work.
- Conducts lessons based on the centre’s lesson plan
- Demonstrates an understanding of each child’s individual development.
- Supervise the initial entry of each child into his/her daycare group.
- Administer medicine to the student with care according to parents’ written requests and instructions. Keep a proper record of the medicine administered.
- Supports to maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate environment.
- Monitor each student’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Develops and sustains good teacher-parent relationships on a daily basis.
**Other Requirements**
- Five Days Work Week
- Part-Time Teacher (12.30pm to 6.30pm OR 1pm to 6pm)
- Full-Time Teacher (9.30am-7pm)
