Lion City Sailors is looking for a Sports Trainer for the academy.

Lion City Sailors is looking for a qualified sports trainer for full-time support of our teams. We are looking for someone who is highly passionate about football.

You are a caring and responsible person with great communication skills and basic computer skills.

You will be:

- Fully responsible for (one of) Lion City Sailors’ teams (Elite Academy or First Team)
- Taking care of the players in case of emergency and/or injury
- Responsible for referral to the doctor/hospital
- Keeping track of injuries following a digital administration
- Able to help a previously injured player reintegrate into the team
- Able to assist the performance department (S&C, taking care of supplementation etc.)

Job Descriptions
- To take care of pre-training preparation and post-training caretaking of players (massaging, taping, etc.)
- You provide high standard caretaking to all teams, educating them in line with the philosophy and methodology as outlined in the Performance Plan
- You will be able to cover games for the Academy teams if needed
- To ensure that all players adhere to club values and show high respect and discipline.
- To adhere to the Coaches Code of Conduct.
- To maintain all coaching and games program records for each session throughout the season.
- To support the development of young players in a healthy lifestyle, diet, drug awareness, and education.
- To attend tournaments and trips when requested by the club.
- To abide by all club policies including (but not exclusive to) Safeguarding, Equality, and Health & Safety

**Requirements**:

- Experience in working with within the relevant age groups (preferably in an Academy/Player Development environment)
- Computer skills (in particular Word/Excel/Access).
- High levels of communication skills, both orally and written.
- Personable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
- Sensitive to the needs of (young) players and parents/guardians
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings.

Minimal educational level:

- Nitec Fitness
- First-Aid course(s)

Plus (Will be advantageous)
- S&C courses (Singapore/abroad)
- FIFA diploma Sports Medicine
