Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide.In a bid to stay relevant to the needs of the community, Care Corner has continuously strived to offer new and innovative programmes to support those in need and the less privileged.
- Planning the lunch menu
- Preparing food items for cooking
- Cooking lunch for 60 seniors. Each lunch will consist of rice, one meat and one vegetable dish. Variations can include fried bee hoon, soup and rice
- Portioning and scooping the food into containers for each senior
- Washing and cleaning up of used pots/pans/utensils and kitchen area
- Ensuring that kitchen area including table tops, work tops and kitchen floors are clean before leaving each day
- Ensure that all food waste is properly disposed each day
- Food must be prepared in a clean and hygienic manner which includes wearing of mask and gloves when serving food
- Unpack frozen food from the cartons and store into freezer when the items are delivered

- Able to commit to working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm.
- Applicants must also be willing to work in Toa Payoh.
