Singapore Keppel Infrastructure Full time

As a site HSE Officer, your primary role is to assist site management to discharge their statutory duties, particularly in the area of identification of workplace safety and health risks and in recommending the necessary control measures. You shall also be responsible for initiating and supporting all HSE-related activities, including, but not limited to:

- Interpret, disseminate and implement all new and updated WSH legal and other requirements
- Maintain safety management system documents and ensure enforcement
- Monitor and report HSE performance on a regular basis, including timely incident investigations and reporting
- Qualify contractors and suppliers in order to ensure that they comply with company’s site safety standards and policies
- Assist site management to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein.
- Provide recommendation to the site management reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or may be affected by the site management’s undertaking in the workplace
- Where it is not reasonably practicable to eliminate the risk referred above, to recommend (a) such reasonably practicable measure to minimise the risk; (b) such safe work procedures to control the risk
- Assist the site management to implement the measure or safe work procedure referred above, as the case may be
- Promote actively and improve HSE culture and performance
- Assist with and participate in KI and Keppel Group HSE programmes, initiatives and activities, as assigned
- Other instructions by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/ Diploma in a technical field
- At least 8 years post WHSO registration, with relevant practical experience in industrial buildings and process plant construction projects
- Graduate in WSH
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM
- Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
- Sufficient knowledge of fire safety, life safety equipment & items
- Detailed understanding and knowledge on HSE Legal & other requirements
- Able to organize and carry out HSE-related trainings
Good time management, leadership qualities and skills
- Have a passion for safety
- Able to work in Tuas
