**Job Description Summary**
Our investment professionals are responsible for delivering investment outcomes to our clients. They are enabled by many teams including Front Office Services (FOS), which is responsible for operations, investment compliance oversight & support functions.

This role is part of FOS and the Investment Monitoring Coding & Innovation team (IMT).

Broadly, the role will be responsible for leading the team that supports investment compliance rule coding across Singapore office and Eastspring’s other local business units, including comprehensive compliance rule reviews, translation, testing, roll out and ad-hoc projects. The individual will work closely with the Investment Compliance team and key business and project stakeholders where there are interdependent deliverables with other streams (systems, data and processes).

Key accountabilities include delivery of accurate and effective rule coding within BlackRock Aladdin’s order management system and in the the following areas: order and trade management, risk reporting, position keeping as well as pre and post trade investment compliance monitoring and reporting.

This position will be the responsible for:
People Management
- Lead and manage the Coding & Innovation team
- Ensure the Coding & Innovation team is running properly and fulfilling the responsibilities of Eastspring’s first line of defence in complying with regulations and standards

Coding & Innovation
- Guideline interpretation, translation, testing and sign-off
- Aladdin training assistance
- Pre & Post trade monitoring process & policy documentation
- Centralization on rule coding & testing for Eastspring Local Business Units
- Identification of customized data attributes i.e. specific client requirement, BB mnemonic fields, certain calculation methodology or hierarchy methodology use for rule coding
- Creation of standard security type/ investment class/industry/country/sector classification for rule coding purposes
- Standardization of rule coding for certain generic rules i.e. cash limits, concentration limits stock/issuer/sector/currency/country bet limits etc.
- Identification and support of opportunities for optimized rule maintenance, enhanced processes to support accuracy & speed to market, alongside system and operational innovations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business related disciplines with at least 10 years of work experience in the Financial industry, ideally in Asset Management
- Experience and knowledge of investment compliance monitoring, especially regulatory requirements (UCITS, MAS, CPF) and working knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent priority, time management and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the firm
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience and knowledge of data analytical tools
