The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

**About the Team**:

- SG SBS Business Development is the retail arm of Shopee. The Commercial Projects team of SG SBS Business Development is a cross-functional task force dedicated to driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, analysing, and optimising pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning across our product portfolio.
- Track and compare competitor prices on key products to ensure our pricing remains competitive
- Support pricing analysis by evaluating cost components to identify opportunities for improving the pricing strategy
- Monitor stock levels across product categories, highlighting overstocked or understocked items to assist with sales planning and promotional activities.
- Assist in selecting and nominating products for flash deals to maximise sales efficiency and promotional impact

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics or any other relevant quantitative discipline
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Data Studio and SQL is a plus, though not a requirement
- Relevant experience in e-commerce and/or knowledge of FMCG/Electronics categories will be advantageous
- Strong business acumen, critical-thinking and ability to form actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills
- Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
- Part-time interns who can commit at least 3 working days a week are also welcome to apply
