Summary
We are searching for an experienced, savvy, and flexible performance marketing Section Manager (M1) You will be part of the Performance Marketing team in Scoot's Brand Marketing team, and will be the team lead in driving effective go-to-market paid media strategies for each of Scoot's campaigns to deliver on business KPIs including driving healthy brand awareness scores and route uptake.
**Job Description**:
Working closely with Scoot's brand manager, the media and creative agencies, s/he will be responsible for delivering key media and business KPIs.
Paid Media & Performance Marketing- Managing the team and the appointed media agency, s/he will be responsible for mapping Scoot's media strategy, budget management and allocation across the year for all markets.- S/he will plan, buy, set-up and optimize paid performance channels across the full funnel, including retargeting strategies for both paid social and digital channels; and put in place measures to ensure all channels are performing well to meet revenue and brand health metric targets.- Drive the setting up of Scoot's DCO platform and develop models for optimization against different market performances and needs.- Maintain and improve Scoot's SEM structure and set-up; to effectively deliver strong ROAS.- Work with marketing analytics, CRM/ digital experience teams to identify opportunities for building targeted audience lists; establishing mutli-channel consumer relationships, building Scoot’s DMP within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and establishing data models for revenue and load optimization and media efficiencies.- Conduct quarterly and annual reviews to ensure optimizations, constant learnings and improvements to deliver on agreed KPIs.- Assess new technology, market trends, consumer behaviors, passenger purchase cycles etc., to identify new opportunities or need for change to Scoot's media strategy.
Market Development - China- Work closely with the Revenue Management and Country managers to ensure load factors are maximized and revenue opportunities are capitalized for the China market, while planning all annual marketing activities for POS CN. This includes engaging state and national tourism boards and airport authorities to secure funding to complement overall media budgets for marketing inbound and outbound travel.- Work collaboratively with Brand team to optimize message amplification through appropriate media plans weighted across the year, taking into account seasonality to maximize booking opportunities for the airline; and ensuring that campaigns have maximum stand out, reflect the airline’s brand values and wherever possible provide a platform for PR activity.- Concurrently, provide direction and oversight for market planning of the 17 other markets within Scoot's network that will be led by the team you are inspiring.
Team Mentorship- Provide guidance and mentorship to younger team members, helping them with market planning, budget and workload management, and to grow in their professional areas of interest.
Job Requirements:- As this role requires managing the China, Hong Kong and Macau markets, proficiency in Chinese and a sound understanding of the Chinese media landscape is a must.Skills:
