We are growing quickly and are looking to expand our team's capabilities. We seek an enthusiastic, intellectually curious, and start-up savvy Investment Associate to join our team.

You will be an integral part of the deal team.

**Investment Associate scope and responsibilities**
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities in the deep tech and enterprise tech sectors across Southeast Asia
- Work alongside founders post investment to support them in strategy and growth
- Conduct due-diligence and support throughout the entire investment process.
- Develop investment theses and informed points of view in existing and new sectors relevant to the Fund.
- Support the deal team in preparing investment committee recommendations.
- Represent Cocoon at events and conferences and build relationships with founders and co-investors.
- Conduct returns and exit analysis and build cash flow models.
- Support and build relationships with portfolio companies.
- Portfolio monitoring and reporting.

**Job requirements**
- A passion for enhancing the Southeast Asian start-up ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of technical sectors and passion for companies solving complex problems and a passion for networking and ecosystem development.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in venture capital or in a startup operating role.
- Strong analytical skills including financial analysis and modelling.
- Ability to work in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to think differently and to formulate independent views on sectors and technologies of interest.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Start-up experience and/or technical experience is a plus.
