Assistant Vice President, HR Strategic Planning

**Purpose of the Job**:

- Assist in division's business planning & budget expense management
- Participate in and support the implementation of global/regional initiatives across the APAC region.
- Support in regional HR risk and compliance related governance and framework and implementation in the region to fulfil internal and external regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development of organizational and departmental strategy to align to MUFG direction / vision.
- Handles the administration of organization’s budget management.
- Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office, wider HR teams and Branches; to participate in working group discussions and support global/regional/departmental projects, policies, systems, guidelines and frameworks
- Exercise good judgment and provide HR advices and interpretation based on existing policies and processes to Branches and Representative Offices.
- Act as a role model to all members of the team and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
- Collate and consolidate the organization’s expense budget reports by working with colleagues in APAC branches
- Support internal audit and external inspections related to GHRA
- Collate periodic HR risk reports for internal review of our HR risk areas
- Assist in HR Risk & Compliance initiatives; including but not limited to the implementation of our HR Risk and Compliance framework
- Support in the review of any operational incident in HR area escalated to GHRA and action plans with relevant countermeasures
- Participate in key HR projects as required.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years of budget planning experience
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel including Pivot Table, VLookup and basic formulas
- Good stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Commitment to quality and timeliness of work deliverables
- Prior experience in project handling or participation will be an added advantage.
- Degree qualified
