
Operating Model Redesign

Collaborate with sponsors and other key stakeholders to understand, synthesize, and translate diverse strategic plans to the Operational Model Redesign framework
- Develop and obtain approval for organisational design and deployment opportunities, which includes outlining strategic alignment, scope, aspirations, goals and objectives, requirements, design principles, and the projected business benefit
- Develop a comprehensive current state assessment of maturity levels to the Operational Model Redesign criteria within each affected business entity
- Identify target operating states and maturity levels within the affected businesses and execute fit gap analyses to document business risks and opportunities
- Identify and actively manage stakeholders associated with or impacted by the organizational design and deployment, which includes frequently planned communication using multiple channels
- Develop and manage a detailed change management plan to quickly attain and sustain the expected organizational change
- Deliver a deployable, sustainable solution to the markets and businesses which meets the strategic requirements of the affected business entities
- Collaborate with any associated programs and projects as needed to deliver the Operational Model design solutions within defined parameters
- Ensure that all organizational designs are fully complaint to all Quality & Regulatory requirements, and all other laws, regulations, and policies
Process Baselining:
- Facilitate the capture, at scale, of baseline processes covering Objectives, Inputs, Tasks, Interfaces, Systems, Data Flows, Outputs.
- Ensure quality in the capture of process details, spanning research approaches, stakeholder engagement, and reporting practice.
Process Solutioning:
- Facilitate the development of horizon process designs, blending good practice in the use of Digital Technology, Data Sciences, and the principles of Design Thinking.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder discussions of “Future Vision” and “Future State” for processes under transformation.
- Engage an array of stakeholders in structured discussion of Desirability, Viability, and Feasibility of proposed solutions, spanning practical, technical, legal, and financial dimensions.
Implementation:
- Prepare detailed As-Is to To-Be gap analyses and gap filling strategies to drive practical and realistic Implementation Plans and Options Assessments.
- Translate solution designs into practical and workable Implementation Plans, encompassing BPR, BPO, and IT based development paths.
- Outlining agile development frameworks for given solutions, establishing key structures as necessary (i.e., MVP and PoC criteria, Scrum-Sprint structures).
Change Management:
- Lead effective communications to multiple tiers of Internal Stakeholder with varying “Impacted vs. Influential” profiles and information requirements.
- Prepare detailed Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, and Change Management Plans to support Implementation Plans.GENERAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- Have cross-industry, cross-domain experience of digital process transformation in large and complex organisations.
- Have experience standing-up and operating a team of Digital-native BAs, focussed on driving efficiency, effectiveness, and economy into process architectures.
- Have experience and capability with Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management spanning C-Suite to Operations.
- Have familiarity with the APAC-ASEAN market and regulatory environment.
- Have extensive experience in the tools and techniques of Business Analysis, Business Process Reengineering, Process Design, and Process Automation.
- Have experience of transformation practice, management, and leadership in the Asset Management and wider Financial Services sector.
DOMAIN SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES:
- This role requires comfort operating across domains in a large, complex, and transforming organisation.
- Experience in Financial Services and Asset Management sectors is desirable, as is work in the areas of process transformation in Investment, Distribution, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Talent functions of an organisation.
- Working knowledge and experiences stemming from a range of digital process transformation initiatives spanning the operations, challenges, and opportunities of a large financial institution is beneficial.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Masters Level or equivalent
- 10-15 years in FSI transformation.
- 7+ years in transformation team leadership.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
