We are representing our client, one of the biggest Contract Manufacturers in the world.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform Product engineering tasks for manufacturing of electro-mechanical products during product development phase, start of production ramp up and sustaining phase till end of life (EOL) of the Product to achieve organization’s target manufacturing KPIs
- Perform failure anlaysis to trace the root cause of the failure, trouble shoot product issues and drive to implement permanent solutions
- Perform Design Analysis with TSA, DFX, DFMEA etc to identify design related root causes
- BOM preparation/update, Create/update Engineering documentations including changes to 2D & 3D drawings required for the development and manufacturing of products spelled out in standard procedures.
- Plan, co-ordinate and lead to implement actions required to evaluate and qualify engineering changes to product or manufacturing processes prior to implementation in mass production, which includes proposal of Qualification/Validation plan and execution.
- Plan and assist to execute Prototype builds or Engineering Evaluation builds to validate engineering changes at production line.
- Product critical performance parameters monitoring with Cp/Cpk anlaysis
- Study and improve product performance (cost and quality) through continuous design and process improvements
- Jigs/fixture design and validation for changes/improvements

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
- 5-8 years of experience in Product Engineering activities to sustain manufacturing of electro mechanical products, especially life science products, by coordinating with R&D, Customer and Manufacturing team
- Experience in R&D /Product Design, preferably in life science products (2D/ 3D assembly and part drawings)
- Proven ability in Jig and fixture development and its validation to use in Mass production
- Experience in failure analysis, by use of Quality tools
- Experience in design analysis tools TSA, DFX, DFMEA, FEA, DOE
- Efficient in oral and written communication, and preparation of presentation slides/materials
- Familiar with Design Tools (3D/2D CAD and GD&T)
- Familiar with Quality tools and techniques (Control Charts, Pareto Charts, cause and effect etc)
- Well versed with standard design processes documentations (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
- Independently able to perform TSA, DFX, DFMEA, DOE, FEA
- Familiar with BOM structuring, Engineering Change Process Management and Production Yield reporting
- Familiar with Poka Yoke assessment and implementation
