Machining Process Engineer

CAM programming for 3 axis, 5 axis simultaneous milling operations
- Machines setting, process design. (Fanuc and Heidenhain controller)
- Proficient in design and programming software such as solidwork, Hyper Mill/Master Cam/Fixture Design/ Marco Program
- Prepare tool-lists process cycle-time
- Source tooling for production use
- Manage and maintain proper storage of programs.
- Continual improvement of process timing
- Design of Jigs and fixture for production
- Troubleshoot machining problems faced
- Responsible to support machine shop and customers on complex machining methods
- Design tooling, fixtures and machining sequence for complex features
- Perform advanced level machine and process troubleshooting
- Perform CNC machine setup for First Article, including the optimization of each process
- Maintain tooling, metrology equipment and machinery in optimum condition
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in work areas
Support sales team on accurate estimation of machining hours
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Strong communication and analytical skills, team player, energetic and willing to work hard
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, Positive Attitude and able to work well as a team
- Able to work in Tampines area
