**What this job involves**:
As a thought leader in workplace design you will team with the broader JLL sales team to develop design-led solutions that inspire prospective clients to engage JLL for the leasing and subsequent design and build of office space.

Reporting to Lead Consultant, working as part of the PDS & Local Markets (Transactions) teams supporting consultancy led sales & delivery of office leasing transactions.

Providing scaleable workplace consulting services as advisor to clients making decisions on their commercial real estate needs, & how they might adapt to their changing needs, industry best practice, or emergent trends.

Identifying opportunities for clients and guiding then to optimise their space requirements, in coordination with other JLL, to assist with determining the best options of space utilisation & delivery methodology.

Innovate workplace solutions for clients on an evolutionary journey, or to comply with clients defined spatial and commercial metrics, in imaginative, commercially attractive ways using data & research.

Working with and contributing to a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the workplace discipline across JLL as a whole, drawing insights to innovate the solutions for clients to provide best in class, seamless advice, and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Work closely with other specialists within JLL such as Design Consultancy and Project Delivery team to support the implementation of the recommended workplace strategy.

Maximise the opportunities for downstream or parallel revenue streams for JLL in the delivery of the services, creating linkage between initial consulting and ultimate delivery, construction & management of the space.

Support new opportunities with the transactions team by co-creating service offerings to clients to form a coordinated commercial & service offering to our clients, incorporating workplace consulting as an integral part of the offering.

Role Attributes & Competencies

We’re looking for a Singapore based Workplace Strategist to engage with business leaders to understand strategic drivers and work collaboratively with our design team to translate their business goals into design solutions.

This role will focus on prioritising the creation of an amazing customer experience to inform space planning efficiency. The goal being to streamline the change effort & reduce cost by identifying and planning in advance of growth for the business, individual teams, and employee needs.

**Key skills for this role are**:
- A combination of creative and analytical abilities and the ability to act as the conduit linking the business to workplace design. This job will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
Research and analysis of global shifts and trends in work behaviours

Utilization of research and analytical skills to determine the best outcome for Business teams with a big picture focus

Conducting interviews, workshops and quantitative studies in the clients’ workplace to establish an understating of their business, culture and workspace

Continual client team engagement facilitate co-creation

Working with a multi-disciplinary team to translate findings into design solutions

Developing briefs, occupancy plans and planning studies

Facilitating staff engagement and project co-ordination

Offering recommendations on the concepts, designs, and delivery of workplace projects

Collaborating with the marketing team to align and reinforce the value-add strategy that JLL provides

Establish, track, and report on metrics where outcomes are achieved on time and within budget

Work with experienced teams to carry out new processes following a systematic and repetitive methodology with strong attention to accuracy

As the successful Workplace Strategist you will preferably have the following Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

5+ years' relevant workplace design/management experience

Expertise in space planning and general knowledge of corporate office planning requirements.

Business acumen and ability to understand key issues and drivers for business decisions

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (Mandarin is advantageous)

Research & analytic skills in both quantitative and qualitative data

Exceptional listening skills and the ability to engage across all organisational levels

Leadership & coordination skills with an understanding of project parameters

Creativity and the ability to think innovatively

You should also have preferably demonstrated experience and/or understanding of:
