**Context of the Role**

We are looking for a keen intern to join our global Finance team to support and drive a wide range of interesting tasks and initiatives.

**Some of the key work you will do**:

- Liaise with financial accountants, finance manager, finance controller and other related parties from the business and operations to assist in streamlining the processes around accounting and management reporting
- Assist in daily administrative matters and ad hoc tasks in the Finance function
- Prepare the month end accounting schedules for month end closing purposes
- Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements and statutory accounts of the entities assigned
- Prepare audit working schedules and attend to queries from auditors during interim and year-end audit

**What are we looking for?**
- Studying Degree in Finance / Accounting
- Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel capability is preferred)
- Google Drive suite
- Basic understanding of FRS accounting standard
- Good communication skills
- Curiosity and good attention to detail
- Collaboration and work as a team
- Willing to learn
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment
- A problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Positive, proactive with the ability to work independently as well as actively contribute to team efforts
