**Job Title: Assistant to Pastoral Team**

**Report To: Assistant Lead Pastor**

**Brief Summary of Role**:
The incumbent would provide secretarial and administrative support to the Pastoral Team. This support would ensure that the Pastoral Team can focus on other responsibilities, such as leading, pastoring, and preaching.

**Detailed Job Description**

Research, Drafting & Presentation
- Draft documents based on pastors’ ideas, thoughts, and direction
- Format, edit, and compile documents for clarity and accessibility
- Conduct necessary research to support pastors’ initiatives and decision-making
- Create PowerPoint slides and other presentation materials when required

Calendar & Meetings Management
- Prioritise calendaring support, manage calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules for the Assistant Lead Pastor
- To provide support in calendaring other Congregation Leads
- Organise events and meetings for pastoral teams, including retreats and gatherings
- Coordinate administrative preparation and logistics for meetings
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and maintain meeting minutes
- Set reminders for key tasks and deadlines

Support & Initiative Coordination
- Support visiting guest speakers and pastors to RHC
- Provide administrative and organisational assistance for pastoral initiatives
- Help with planning, implementation, and facilitation of programs and events
- Assist in arranging and executing key staff events and huddles

General Administrative Duties
- Assist with claims submission for the pastoral team
- Take dictation and assist with correspondence and typing

**Requirements, Skills & Desired Traits**
- Willing to work in a Christian Church environment
- Understand, support and aligned with the core beliefs of RHC
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar setting
- Familiar with supporting and/or working with a Pastoral Tean
- High MS Office and PowerPoint proficiency
