Resident Physician

The Resident Physician will provide first-line clinical coverage in surgical departments within Tan Tock Seng Hospital. You will handle more complex first-line case and guide the junior doctors accordingly with your broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services. You will also assist in elective and emergency operation and perform night duty as decided by the Head of Department and according to the operational requirements of the hospital.
- **Requirements**:

- Basic MBBS qualification or equivalent, registrable with the SMC;
- Recognised postgraduate qualifications such as MMed (Surgery), FRCS and FANZCA or equivalent will be an advantage;
- At least 3 years of experiences as Medical Officer (post-housemanship);
- Relevant experience working in Surgery department is preferred.

As a
- **Resident Physician**, you can expect to move progressively to Senior Resident Physician and then Principal Resident Physician, depending on your performance and clinical skills.
