Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group’s Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm’s operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day administration of Backup environment, daily failure monitoring, reporting using OpsCenter.
- Manage day-to-day administration of Block storage estate, including monitoring the Storage ticket queues, Storage Provisioning, SAN/NAS connectivity issues, storage hardware and software issues, storage device performance monitoring and tuning, storage sizing, integration with Platform systems and end users
- Periodic Reporting - Assist with collecting metrics and produce reports for capacity and performance discussion with Internal customers and ensure optimum health of the environment.
- Design & Architecture - Actively partner with the server teams to design and implement a reliable, highly available architecture to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Communication - Effective collaboration with other Infrastructure groups including Network, Server & Database teams as well as the Application Development teams
- Documentation - Assist in documenting critical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Work with existing Storage procedures aligned with firmwide policies and processes to ensure that Audit and Regulatory requirements are met.
- Provide suggestion to improve operational efficiencies

**Skills**:
Around 4-7 years of strong storage administration experience in a Production environment in a medium to large company with in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud, Netapp and Veritas Netbackup.
- Cloud certification is a must - preferably Azure.
- Experience with Netapp CVOs and on-prem FAS series is highly desirable
- Working experience on CISCO MDS or Brocade Director class SAN switches
- Additional desirable experience - Shell and Perl scripting, NDMP, Windows Server Administration & Unix administration.
- Experience in operations role as a Storage Administrator
- Experience with VCS/VVR replication is desirable.
- The position will be required to work on shifts. These shifts will also cover the weekends.
- Work days could be staggered over the week
