**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Provide independent credit evaluation and/ or credit approval of commercial / corporate banking loans and make sound recommendations to improve asset quality while supporting business growth of the Bank.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To enforce sound credit underwriting practices and controlling asset quality through credit evaluation and credit approval.
- To be directly and indirectly accountable for what we underwrite and how we underwrite credit risk.
- Build and embed a sound, transparent and consistent credit culture by setting the highest standards within the bank.
- To advise BUs on credit risks inherent in normal business activities and new business initiatives.
- Liaising with relevant key customers, external stakeholders and regulators on credit risk matters to achieve win-win relationships.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance / Business Administration / Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience
- Well versed in credit analysis and financial modelling
- Extensive experience in the corporate/commercial credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, trade / working capital financing and derivative products.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory issues.
