We are looking for a **Competence Developer **to join our Competence Development team in Neste Singapore.
We have a small team of experts working in Neste Singapore’s Refinery. Our team is responsible for ensuring all the processes, roles and responsibilities related to training are clearly defined, updated and executed. Purpose of the job is to lead data driven competence development and building of the learning culture.
We also develop training programs, support content development and monitor the delivery of such training to all levels of employees.
**Your part in Neste journey**
In this role, you will support capabilities building activities. Your main responsibilities include
- Act as a project manager with internal and external stakeholders; your role is to lead, and coordinate the training content development process and project. You will ensure high quality training from an adult learning perspective.
- You are responsible for facilitating Neste’s Annual learning need analysis process for our engineering roles.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining training material libraries, and executing training management structures and programs in our competence management system ensuring alignment with global and local procedures and practices.
- Accountable for continuous improvement of training content, and identify/analyse skills/knowledge improvement opportunities, and training development needs within own area of responsibility following the structured user centred development process.
- Accountable to design, review, produce and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, classroom training, assessment criteria and other training activities as required.
You will work closely with HR, Operational Excellence, Operations, Maintenance, Technical, Turnaround & HSSEQ Departments and External Consultants / Government Agencies to accomplish your goals.
You will report to the Competence Development Manager, to ensure the competency of our people, and to drive the development of Neste’s learning culture.

- Minimum bachelor degree in the relevant field
- 5-10 years relevant experience in training and development preferably in process industry
- Strong knowledge of Competence Development concepts and is people growth centric.
- Excellent internal drive, results driven with willingness to learn and challenge the status quo to support the organisation to meet the strategic imperatives.
- High ethical standards & values.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
