**In this role, you will get to**:
**Lead the Development of Recommendation Systems**
- Design, build, and implement advanced **recommendation algorithms** (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and deep learning methods) to deliver personalized experiences to users.
- Optimize ranking algorithms and metrics to improve the effectiveness of recommendation systems across different platforms.

**Drive Data Science Projects**
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple data science projects, ensuring timely and successful execution from research and development to production.
- Continuously improve existing models through experimentation, A/B testing, and performance optimization.

**Collaborate with Product Teams**
- Partner with product managers and domain experts to understand user needs and business goals, translating these into technical requirements for machine learning models.
- Work closely with engineers and data scientists to deploy recommendation systems at scale, ensuring seamless integration into existing product ecosystems.

**You'll be successful if you have**:

- **Bachelor's degree** in **Computer Science**, **Data Science**, **Statistics/Maths**, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. is a plus).
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science, Machine Learning or AI
- Strong programming skills in **Python** and familiarity with machine learning libraries
- Proficiency in **SQL** for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably **GCP**) and containerization technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead data science projects, from conceptualization to deployment, with a focus on driving business impact.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
