**The Company**
Our client is one of the leading composite insurers in Singapore, offering life, health and general insurance. It is a public non-listed company, which continues to serve the protection, savings and investment needs of individuals, families and businesses.

**The Role**
In this role, your duties are to come up with the appropriate protocols for keeping data, develop tools and methods for a business to oversee its data, and provide management with recommendations about how to best govern the use of and access to the information.
- Reviewing data sources to identify any gaps in coverage that require additional data collection efforts
- Developing and implementing data security policies to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or use
- Establishing data standards for a company's database environment, including defining fields and creating rules for data entry and retrieval
- Reviewing use of data by company departments to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations
- Creating reports on data trends across departments and regions within an organization to help identify opportunities for improvement or changes in strategy
- Collaborating with business managers to ensure that data quality is maintained over time
- Developing policies on acceptable methods for reporting results and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Working with IT staff to maintain databases by adding new data or updating existing data sets

**Your Profile**
- Financial services and insurance background
- financial institution or insurance/re-insurance experience is required for this role
- Knowledge of how to implement Data Governance from a Business Analyst perspective
- Able to identify data sources for glossary, identify database inventory and match data steward to data owner
- Ability to set up data governance processes and framework
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, manage communication with various business stakeholders and build relationships
- 5+ years of overall work experience
