- Michael Durkin- Associate Director - Specialist in recruitment in the Finance and CFO space for Banking & FS We are currently partnering with a leading Digital Assets business, who are looking to hire a Head of Finance who will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day finances of the business, working closely with the CFO to drive business growth.

This role will be responsible for the following:

- Produce all company reporting, including performance, cost, financial resource, regulatory, tax, and ad-hoc reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing and validating short
- and long-term company plans and budgets.
- Oversee daily financial operations and manage vendor relationships end-to-end.
- Control and manage the payments and invoicing processes, coordinating approvals with head office.
- Develop and strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring compliance with established controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for leadership.
- Provide financial guidance to senior management and the CFO for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors, regulators, and investors to substantiate accounting treatments and meet reporting needs.
- Act as a key Finance contact across departments and with head office, resolving daily finance-related matters.
- Support the CFO in managing company-wide projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountancy, or professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Skilled in accounting and financial analysis to optimize financial operations.
- Strong understanding of Investment Banking / Custody / Debt Capital Markets
- Proficient in local accounting standards, MAS regulations, and tax reporting.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and data tools (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, etc).
