Business Analyst - 6 months contract

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
This role essentially will develop concrete financial tools and templates for financial analytical review to enhance overall Company profitability and competitiveness.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
Controlling
- Develop tools and templates to enable business analysis such as category growth, margin improvement, ASP, product mix, sales by channel / customer etc to influence business decisions.
- Provide commercially focused and responsive business tools and reports to support business requirements and needs across the region.
- Review current business metrics, data capture and management processes across the APAC businesses.
- Assist in Forecast and budget processes
- Provide other support or leadership to projects as required - for example business improvement initiatives, training, coaching and mentoring or reporting analysis and review.
- Other ad-hoc assignment as required.

Accounting
- Assist in reviewing reporting practices, make recommendations on report rationalization or improvement, and establish framework for maintaining reporting standards across the region
- Support month end and year end closing across APAC adhere to Corporate accounting policy and IFRS
- Assist in ERP system roll out in APAC

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in Business, Accounting, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and financial accounting
- Proven experience in analysis review
- Excellent in excel and PowerPoint is a must
- Knowledge of key financial performance metrics, eg margin contributions etc.
- Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute stocks inventory
- Prior experience of ERP system and its implementation - SAP and SAP B1 a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
