Mackay Marine - Singapore, located in the Jurong area, is currently seeking an experienced **Inventory Assistant **with the skills and requirements listed below.

**Job Summary**:
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for duties and tasks associated with maintaining an accurate inventory and sufficient stock levels on hand for the depot. Responsible for all shipping and receiving of goods as well as preparation materials for service attendance. Create all documentation requested by management to track movement and accuracy of inventory. Complete all duties associated with a warehouse environment in a timely fashion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance to Mackay’s company policies and procedure.
- Prepare freight packages to be shipped internationally and domestically from our depot.
- Deliver materials/cargo on ad-hoc basis.
- Prepare materials for service jobs, as well as check and return after job completion.
- Use the Solomon system to obtain simple reports, track transfers, shipments, and log inventory items, both shipped and/or received.
- Maintain stock levels of inventory goods to support adequate inventory balances.
- Notify supervisor when stock levels are low and require restocking.
- Maintain accurate inventory records/documents for all movement of goods and supplies.
- Organize all inventory items in a physical easy way to access.
- Provide security and control of all goods in the locked area of the warehouse.
- Maintain entire warehouse area in a clean and organized manner consistently.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Min. GCE “N” level or equivalent. Prior education or experience in electrical, electronics, and/or marine field is preferred.
- Physically fit. Able to lift and carry 30kg goods.
- Possess Class 3 driving license.
- 2+ Years of Inventory, shipping & receiving experience.
- Need to work or perform standby duty during after office hours.
- Office is in Jurong area. Residing in the west is preferred.
- Meticulous, hardworking, willing to learn, and able to multi-task and work independently.
- Possess good working attitude and a team player.
