**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the design, deployment, and operations of our cloud infrastructure. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of our 24x7 public-facing AWS-hosted web platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implement platform engineering best practices, and enhance cloud automation and security.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cloud Infrastructure Operations & Support**
- Ensure systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards through proactive monitoring and incident management.
- Implement and manage robust logging, telemetry, and alerting systems to ensure platform health.

**Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation**
- Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes using DevOps best practices.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

**Cloud Architecture & Security**
- Design secure and scalable cloud solutions aligned with architecture standards and business requirements.

**Platform Engineering & Collaboration**
- Drive the design and implementation of reusable infrastructure platforms and services.
- Partner with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure stakeholders to understand needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Optimization & Innovation
- Monitor usage, performance, and costs of cloud resources; recommend improvements for cost-efficiency and performance.
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and industry trends for potential adoption.

**Required Qualifications**:

- AWS Certification: AWS SysOps Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate (active certification required).
- Strong experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and security services.
- Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Exposure to cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth).
- Understanding compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) is a plus.
