**Job Summary:
**The Vehicle Attendant assists Class 4 drivers in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods. They help with loading/unloading cargo, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves supporting logístical operations, ensuring vehicle readiness, and providing customer service during deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Loading and Unloading**:Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
Verify cargo against delivery notes or manifests.
- **Vehicle Maintenance Support**:Help conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking oil, tire pressure, fuel levels, etc.).
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out.
Report any maintenance issues or vehicle damage to the driver or supervisor.
- **Safety and Compliance**:Ensure goods are secured safely to prevent movement during transit.
Follow all safety protocols and assist the driver in adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- **Route and Delivery Assistance**:Assist in navigating and directing the driver through routes.
Confirm delivery locations and help with route adjustments due to traffic or delays.
- **Customer Interaction**:Help deliver goods to customers and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
Address basic customer inquiries, escalating more complex issues to the driver or supervisor.
- **Inventory and Documentation**:Assist in maintaining accurate delivery records and updating logs as required.
Ensure all documentation (e.g., invoices, delivery notes) is properly handled and filed.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items.
- Basic understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Prior experience in logistics support or transportation is an advantage.
