**ICT Infrastructure Engineer
**_Key Responsibilities _**
- Implement projects within their emplaced practice to ensure service delivery and support to meet the intended availability, continuity and capacity requirements.
- Translate business requirement into infrastructure design.
- Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy and configure infrastructure to meet resiliency, availability and data integrity needs.
- Ensure compliance to Technical Architecture and SG-TRM, as well as IM8 and Authority IT Policies.
- Request to provision new VMs for new systems.
- Handover Infrastructure and Systems standard operating procedures and day-to-day performance/availability monitoring to Operations Engineer upon commissioning and completion of PGP.
- Support Operations Engineer on Infrastructure and Systems.
- Assist in Infrastructure Architecture review, support and endorsement Review Hardening standards for OS, database.
- Hosting environment infrastructure on-boarding (design, setup, configuration, implementation, testing and commissioning of infrastructure components).
- Understand systems operations environment is expected.

**_What we are looking for _**
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience delivering Enterprise Data Science and / or Big Data Platforms on AWS (preferred) or On-Premises (Good to have).
- Hands-on experience with Linux RHEL (preferred), Windows (Good to have), OS virtualisation technologies (Good to have), SAN storage (Good to have) and/or databases (Added advantage).
- Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.
- Ability to analyse and identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional implications while developing a workable solution.
- Hands-on experience in in developing DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines, either on Cloud (preferred) or On Premise (Good to have) would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Working experience with both structured and unstructured data sets would be an added advantage.
- Good appreciation of common Cyber Security Risks and Control. Knowledge on configuring popular Operating Systems (e.g.: Windows or Linux) and / or Middleware (e.g.: Apache, Nginx) against CIS standards would be an added advantage.
