[lta-pt] Deputy

You will spearhead policy reviews relating to the point-to-point (P2P) transport sector, for the ride-hail and street hail industries. You will monitor the sector, evolve and develop the P2P regulatory framework which delivers our objective of protecting commuter and drivers safety and interest. In addition, you will be required to anticipate changes to the operating models of the P2P sector when new developments such as Autonomous Vehicles enter the sector, and introduce new legislation to ensure that the P2P Regulatory framework remains effective.
Beyond writing policy and position papers, you are expected to staff senior management in P2P related meetings and transport planning matters, including providing key analytical insights to the industry development. You will interpret data and analyse the results and review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualification preferably in Statistics, Economics, Policy Studies, Social Sciences or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in policy reviews and/or data analysis preferred
- Strong writing and analytical skills required
- Possess initiatives and resourcefulness
- Comfortable in communicating and engaging with members of public and stakeholders (i.e. operators, unions, drivers)
