Shipbrokers act as intermediaries between two parties in the shipping industry.

We are now looking for a Junior Research Analyst to join our vibrant business, based in our Singapore office.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Global Head of Research, you will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore and London offices and gain exposure to the global oil and tanker shipping markets.
- Conduct fundamental research on the global oil and shipping market
- Gather market intelligence and identify key drivers of the oil and shipping market
- Help maintain our vast proprietary database and demand/supply models
- Assist in the production of regular research reports of the company
- Service bespoke client research and data requests
- Support internal brokers for business development activities

**Education, Experience and Skills**

You will be focused with outstanding attention to detail. With critical thinking skill, you will recognize the value of precision and nuance as much as productivity.
- Strong presentation, communications and writing skills
- Strong data and statistical analysis skills
- Good understanding of Chemical products with strong interest in a commodity trading / shipping environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge in SQL, PowerBI and PowerQuery are plus
