As a pricing intern, you will not only be part of pricing team, but part of a large collaborative family that supports development of innovative products and help policyholders achieve financial freedom.

**Focus of the Internship**

As an intern with us, you will have vast number of opportunities to collaborate with the pricing team as well as other stakeholders in the company like product development team, IT, policy servicing etc., which provides you the opportunity to gain insights of what front-end and back-end operations of an insurance company look like from pricing perspective. On top of hands-on experience in developing pricing and illustration tools, you will also gain exposure on end-to-end pricing and product development process, which further helps understanding on technicalities of actuarial pricing.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Pricing: Assist in peer review for individual life pricing as well as ad-hoc pricing projects

2. Operation Support: Support pricing colleagues with special quotation and post-sale quotation requests and customer inquiries, as well as ad-hoc pricing projects.

3. Enhance Pricing Process: Assist in streamlining pricing and SQS Excel model for Life products.

4. Embracing Collaboration and Attention to Detail: Facilitate generation of test cases for regression testing, review regression testing results for SQS system and UAT results for AS400 system and other systems, support day 2 system enhancements which involves reviewing BRD, providing pricing formulas and verifying results while collaborating with involved stakeholders.

**Key Learnings**
- Gaining Exposure to Actuarial Modeling: Familiarize yourself with industry-standard actuarial modeling tools and software including MS Excel, Prophet etc.
- Developing Actuarial Technical Expertise: Deepen your knowledge of actuarial principles and refine your problem-solving skills.
- Managing Stakeholders and Communication: Enhance your communication skills as you collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Curiosity for Actuarial Science: An insatiable curiosity for Actuarial Science and a natural flair for collaborative pricing work.
- Modelling Expertise: Proficiency in handling tools such as MS Office and VBA.
- Heart for Communication: Embrace the willingness to learn and grow in communication, enabling you to effectively present technical insights.
