**Direct Search Global is working with a fast-growing SGX-listed ship owner who has over 50 new-builds across the world and owns over 70 vessels to fill the role of Planning Engineer to be based in their Singapore office.**

**Who should apply?**

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor progress of project from start to finish.
- Ensure work process adhere to project milestones and schedules.
- Identify critical paths and report early warnings to project team.
- Obtain weekly reports from respective shipyards.
- Generate reports to clients on a regular basis.
- Incorporate any approved changes and deviations from key project milestones and identification of alternate approaches to optimise the plans.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in engineering disciplines or project management.
- Have a sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- With a meticulous and logical approach.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Be able to anticipate problems and provide effective solutions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills and be numerate.
