- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in the technology sector, strategy consulting, corporate finance, or similar industry in a commercially-focused, and/or an analytics-focused role.
- Experience in data analysis and financial modeling.

Preferred qualifications:

- Ability to collaborate effectively with dispersed cross-functional teams and deliver messages with credibility to influence executive leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

**About the job**:
Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

In this role, you will build meaningful relationships that power extraordinary user experiences, advance partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. You will help build, grow, and distribute Google products through partnerships across various Google product areas. You'll also help publishers and developers grow their businesses through business solutions, and helping partners navigate change that delivers economic and reputational value.

The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise and influence leadership team on business performance, risks/opportunities, and strategic initiatives utilizing data-driven analysis.
- Cultivate relationships and collaborate with leaders across Global Partnerships and Global Finance, finding solutions to challenges in an ever evolving environment.
- Provide finance guidance on commercial and economic values of strategic agreements to ensure they are driving value for the business.
- Own the operation of commercial agreements from a finance perspective, including agreement modeling, performance tracking, agreement governance, and strategy.
