**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
The Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) Impacts and Assurance Associate will be responsible for assisting the GPSNR Director, and Impacts and Assurance Manager, to oversee the Platform’s capacity building projects; smallholders’ engagement and representation; and manage external donor relations and processes relating to grant funding and reporting.

They will also be responsible for outreach and engagement with key stakeholders (GPSNR members and non-members alike) to communicate GPSNR’s operations relating to capacity building and smallholders, and contribute to other organisational workstreams such as communications, admin support, and finance.

**TASKS**:
Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
1. Facilitate GPSNR members in the Smallholders and Capacity Building Working Groups, as well as the various Country Subgroups and Task Forces, to strategise and conceptualise smallholders’ engagement and capacity building projects.

2. Lead in working with GPSNR members to secure funding, operationalise projects, and ensure completion of key milestones for all smallholders’ engagement and capacity building projects.

3. Oversee institutional donor grant reporting, including timely financial updates, progress narrative reports, and managing donor relations.

4. Act as the lead point-of-contact for GPSNR’s smallholder members globally, including responding to individual queries, organising Country-level smallholder calls, and working with GPSNR members in the respective countries to engage with smallholders.

5. Support other Working Groups and workstreams as necessary, including but not limited to the Risk Subgroup, Shared Responsibility Working Group, and Policy Toolbox Working Group.

6. Support organisational processes such as communications, finance, and admin as required.

7. Contribute to the organisation of member related virtual and in-person events like webinars, General Assemblies, meetings etc.

8. Facilitate links and processes between the Secretariat team and the (external) finance team.

9. Logistical set up for Working Groups meetings (meeting set up including interpretation, minutes-taking).

10. In collaboration with other departments, manage and continuously update GPSNR institutional memory and knowledge library.

11. In collaboration with other departments, provide support in the planning, execution and follow up of events, workshops, and activities for the Department

Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.

**DESIRED COMPETENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**

❑ Relevant Bachelor Degree.

**Work Experience**

❑ Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a field related to sustainability; stakeholder management and engagement; project management.

❑ Experience working within Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives will be an advantage.

**Technical & Professional Knowledge**:
❑ Ability to organise, multi-task, and complete projects with time deadlines.

❑ Ability to adapt and work constructively with stakeholders from across the globe.

❑ Familiarity with economic, environmental, and social issues in relation to the natural rubber industry, or other agricultural commodities, will be an advantage.
