Singapore YAMAL TRADE PTE. LTD. Full time

**Yamal Trade Pte Ltd **, a subsidiary of Yamal LNG Joint Venture, is a company incorporated in Singapore which business is linked to Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) produced in Yamal Peninsula (Russia).

Yamal Trade (YT) is looking for a Tanker Operator to join the Shipping Team. Yamal Trade is holding long term Time Charters to service its pioneering Arctic LNG project. Yamal Trade chartered fleet is composed of a total of 26 LNG carriers and 2 condensate tankers. This position will be based in Singapore.

**Skills & Job Responsibilities:
The appointee will be required to perform the following tasks independently:

- Handle end-to-end operations for condensate shipments
- Provide voyage instructions to Vessel/Owners as per contract
- Ensure each shipment is carried out as per contractual commitment (sales contract and charterparties)
- Monitor vessels’ itineraries/movement to ensure laycans are met and accuracy in schedule
- Handle all post-fixture claims such as : laytime calculation (demurrage), off-specs issues and auxiliary items
- Ensure timely issuance and accuracy in cargo documents such as Bill of Lading and Letter of Indemnities, etc
- Liaise with counterparties such as buyers, port agents, surveyors, owners etc to ensure smooth operations in line with contract
- Attend to situations and mitigate potential claims and delay
- Anticipate and raise any potential issues of operational concern

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Maritime or equivalent qualification preferred
- Exposure to chemicals / tankers operations preferred. Non-related experience may be considered for junior position
- Excellent English written skills
- Good communication capability to interact with people of different backgrounds, cultures
- Critical thinking ability under pressure
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Able to work outside office hours if necessary
