**Responsibilities of this Role**
- Work with department heads to analyse and document existing Jira (and offline) workflows
- Define and propose process improvements, including opportunities for automation
- Implement all the Jira components necessary to implement the improved workflows
- Pilot new projects, then support the migration from existing projects to new
- Develop automated scripts, post functions and triggers using Python and REST API to interface with our existing systems on AWS
- Document the improvements on Confluence
- Provide technical support for user management, creating custom dashboards and reports

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field / min. 3 years of work experience
- Programming experience with a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the software development cycle
- Experience in analysing, developing, and implementing processes in Jira
- Working knowledge and coding experience using Python and REST API
- Process governance experience or strong automation workflow knowledge
