Roles & Responsibilities

**Description**:
Person in this role has the responsibility to collect vibration and temperature measurement data from equipment at plant site(s). He/She shall provide reliable data to enable the Analyst to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations to the customers.

This Person shall be trained to become certified to repair, calibrate and configure portable devices. He/She shall provide technical support to our customers in Asia Pacific (AP), including diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with the devices. He/She will be required to prepare and facilitate shipment/courier of devices to transfer them back to their owners in the respective countries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collects vibration and Temperature measurement data at site using portable instruments as per client’s schedule.
- Reports site observations & findings to Engineer.
- Full compliance to site safety requirements.
Carries out repair, calibration and configuration of field portable devices used for instrument health checks and vibration monitoring.
- Provides technical support and offer recommendations to customer for technical related issues.
- Provides assessment of repair and/or upgrade works required and prepare quotations to customers.
- Conducts basic administrative duties such as maintenance of engineering records and generation of standard service reports.
- Assists co-workers where required or assigned by supervisors.
**Job Requirements**:

- ITE/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with 2 years of working experience.
- Understanding of mechanical or instrumental equipment is required.
- Experience with Emerson CSI 2130/ CSI 2140 portable instruments will be an advantage.
- Effective verbal communication and good writing skills.Tags
