**Tasks

- Oversee the accounting function, including managing the daily operations, maintaining accounting systems and records in accordance to SFRS/IFRS and internal reporting requirements, preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing work prepared by the Accounting Specialist
- Manage treasury functions including payments, monitor cash flow position and ensure healthy cash flow forecast
- Oversee tax function and ensure compliance, including review of tax schedules, timely statutory filings and relevant documentation
- Manage the annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion-Develop, implement and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting as well as adequate risk management including appropriate documentation
- Implement process excellence projects to improve efficiency, enhance internal controls and compliance including process diagnostics and use of technologies
- Work closely with functional departments to support and ensure smooth implementation of new business activities
**Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Business or a related field
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a related field, including minimum 2 years in a public accounting firm
- Strong structural, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge in accounting (IFRS) and tax regulations, operational risk management and design of internal control systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good team player and willingness to work in multicultural environment
