**Overview
You’ll also be working with a large number of new software algorithms and technologies on the backend - for instance, some of our sensors feed into predictive models. As such, backend development will need to incorporate nonstandard algorithms to process input data and generate outputs (the models will be provided; you are not expected to develop models of your own).

We’ll also be ensuring that software standards meet clinical and industry requirements e.g., in terms of data protection and transfer, as well as visibility. As such, this role involves robust documentation and writing technical documents.

Limited experience is no problem; we acknowledge Megrez is a new company and we will all learn together. This is a hybrid role, with work-from-home and online meetings, you will really only be expected to meet clients once in a while to view prototypes.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Define scope, scale of projects alongside clients and internal team. Evaluate viability of proposed software design to ensure it is executable.
- Training in full-stack software engineering or software development. Please provide a portfolio/Github. Must have robust documentation.
- Willingness to learn to work with ML models.
- Design software system architecture based on provided design specifications.
- Develop/implement scalable apps, web services, APIs based on designs and client requirements Write documentation, technical documents.

**Skills
Must Have
- Training in software engineering or software development
- Previous experience as a full-stack engineer
- Proficient in front-end languages and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS, React, Javascript
- Proficient in back-end languages such as embedded C, Java, Python.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL

Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience. Salary will be based on experience.
- Experience in the healthcare field is a plus.
- Rails, Ruby,.NET, PHP.
- Familiarity in working with ML
- Familiarity with no-code platforms e.g. Flutter
