
Marketing Executive

The objective for this role is to play a key part in leading the development and execution of annual marketing campaigns for relevant brands with a strong focus on digital marketing and acquisition and retention B2B marketing campaigns. This intermediate generalist marketing role is a key influence in terms of the commercial success, and attendee and sponsor results including retention, for the relevant brands.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
Copywriting, social media management, digital marketing and website management, High level experience in creating and sending EDMs, excellent experience with google analytics, social media scheduling and reporting, digital tracking and reporting, briefing digital assets, managing deadlines, stakeholder management, problem solving, strong team player, tech savvy.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Marketing Campaign Development and Execution
- Developing and assisting with the implementation, delivery and reporting on lead generation and demand generation campaign elements including creative, media, digital.
- Report on marketing activity, through analysing platforms such as social media, electronic direct mail (EDM), websites and digital marketing.
- Drive and manage the development of post-show campaign reporting as required.
- Creative design of social media tiles, website assets, EDM headers using approved key brand campaign concept.
- Develop and execute EDMs, SMS, sponsored and third-party communications as part of the campaign plan
- Brief and execute 3rd party EDMs and digital elements on time.
- Adhere to all standard campaign and collateral delivery timelines in place. (Critical milestones document and best practice template will be provided)
- Develop social media plans and ensure websites and all digital channels are up to date at all times with event listings and key information. Review on a weekly basis.
- Update budget and manage invoice processing where required.
- Work with Marketing Manager/Event Manager to develop a content plan including working with editorial and partners for content pieces
Customer-focus
- Regularly update brand websites and demonstrate how you’ve improved user experience design and thus user satisfaction, including delivering landing pages for both sponsor and attendee promotion, weekly reviews, and updates of websites.
- Develop onsite and pre/post event social media campaigns in line with the social media strategy by tagging sponsors, partners, speakers, etc., retweeting and sharing posts, profiling new products, representing onsite experience/brand etc.
Growth & Commercial Performance
- Assist Marketing Manager/Marketing Director/Event Manager to deliver event specific attendee and sponsor revenue targets and retention results.
- Support Marketing Manager/Marketing Director/Event Manager to deliver attendee and sponsor segmentation growth targets in line with strategy.
- Assist Marketing Manager/Marketing Director/Event Manager with data and database growth strategy by demonstrating how you’ve successfully gathered and segmented data correctly in line with the growth strategy.
- Deliver speaker outreach and sponsor outreach campaigns and demonstrate their growth.
Administration
- Provide administration assistance to Marketing Manager/Marketing Director/Event Manager and marketing team as required.
- Update budget spreadsheet as required.
- Database management.
- Respond to attendee and sponsor enquiries appropriately and promptly.
- Travel interstate when required for meetings, events, and marketing activity.
Onsite Event Responsibilities
- Manage event social media channels and sharing partner/sponsor/attendee posts.
- Assist Marketing Manager, Event Manager or Marketing Director as required.
- Ensure photography at each event is promoted on social media.
- Deliver post-show surveys - attendees, sponsors, PRDNA.

- Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and campaign delivery
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
