**Automation Lead
**Responsibilities**
- Plan, deploy and manage quality assurance and testing for the project.
- Develop and establish quality assurance deliverables and testing framework, including test plans and cases, throughout the development of the Application Software.
- Create and manage automated test frameworks (where applicable), including preparing test environments and maintaining functional testing scripts.
- Ensure the Application Software meets performance and load test requirements, validate outcomes, and provide feedback for improvements.
- Track defects in the product backlog, conduct impact analysis, validate completed stories against acceptance criteria, and collaborate with the development team to enhance expected behaviour and test cases.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of software development quality assurance experience.
- Experience in managing diverse test teams and projects.
- Proficient in test automation and developing automation frameworks from scratch on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, HP QTP/UFT, Appium, or similar, and API testing using SoapUI, JUnit, Karate, Postman, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter/Load Runner.
- Knowledge of various test automation frameworks like Protractor, Cucumber, JUnit, or similar.
- Strong expertise in functional, load, and performance testing methodologies and processes, including defining and implementing key metrics for managing and assessing the testing process, test execution, and defect resolution.
- Prior experience with Agile Development and methodologies on large-scale projects.
- Advantageous to have worked on public service projects.
- Excellent facilitation, planning, and management skills.
