We are recruiting a qualified piping design engineer on behalf of our client in the marine, oil and gas sectors. Detailed Job Description and Requirements are as follows:

- Provide specialist technical advice and information to internal and external parties
- Study and interpret drawings and prepare detailed design drawings using 3D modelling tools for 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, etc
- Ensure the detailed design drawings and documents have met the contractual technical specification and Classification Society’s requirements
- Work closely with the internal teams to prepare piping material specifications, liaise with suppliers for quotation and support vendor evaluations for piping components (valves, flanges, supports, etc.)
- Review piping installation drawings and provide feedback for improvement to ensure constructability
- Conduct site visits as needed to verify piping installations are in accordance with the approved designs

**Requirements**:

- Diploma **/ **Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Marine/Offshore/Naval Architecture
- At least 3-5 years experiences in engineering design on piping system
- Team work, good interpersonal skills able to work well with various stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of piping marine international design codes and standards, Classification/Statutory Rules and Regulations.
- Engineering and design project management skills.
- Experience in process plant, marine ballast water system and scrubber system is preferred
