Elite Linguistic Academy (“ELA”) is a Singapore-based Chinese and English language and cultural advisory provider to students, professionals, and companies across Asia. Since our inception in 2009, we have been focusing on developing effective Language-related learning programs for students and adult professional learners. Our corporate clients include government agencies and multinational companies such as MAS, STB, Google, Grab and CBRE.

We are seeking experienced Freelance English Language Teacher to deliver high-quality English lesson. The teacher may choose the program that they are specialized with, such as IELTS preparation, O Level English, daily conversational or business English classes. Lessons will be conducted in-person at our Chinatown campus. Teacher has the authority to create lesson plans, provide constructive feedback, and help students achieve their language goals. For young teachers, we will provide guidance and support if we find them suitable and have the potential to grow. The teacher may choose to teach one-to-one student, group class, daytime or nighttime classes.

**Responsibilities**:
❖ Conduct in-person English language classes for IELTS, O Level, Daily Conversational and

Business English at Chinatown.

❖ Develop and deliver standard or customized lesson plans.

❖ Assess students’ language proficiency and track their progress.

❖ Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.

❖ Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and exam formats.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:
❖ Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field, OR

❖ TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification.

❖ Proven experience in teaching English, especially IELTS and O Level English.

❖ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

❖ Ability to create a positive learning environment.

❖ Proficient in using teaching aids and resources.

❖ Ability to communicate in Chinese an added advantage.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
