**Intern, Government Relations and External Engagement**:
At ASM, we welcome the opportunity to give young, talented people the chance to show us what they can achieve while giving them an insight into our world. The Government Relations function is to take action to raise the profile and position of ASM in key markets as a trusted economic partner to advance ASM’s strategic business priorities - especially as geopolitical and national security concerns are driving increased government intervention and regulation in strategic industries like semiconductors.

**A day in the life of Government Relations and External Engagement Intern**:

- Support the Head of Government Relations in research and analysis of technology and semiconductor related industry policy (focus SEA and USA) that could impact ASM’s business operations.
- Assist with building and delivering ASM’s Public Policy narrative through public sector, business/industry and community engagement in Singapore
- Play a critical role to support ASM's external brand building efforts, with special focus on outreach programmes by C-Suite executives and senior management. This includes strategising, researching, and preparing impactful speeches and presentations, with a clear focus on messaging to different audiences.
- Develop communication content and brand assets - including articles, videos etc. to support ASM Singapore external communication and engagement strategy
- Support production and execution of site-wide events and marketing/promotional activities in Singapore, working together with other cross function teams.
- Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

**What Will Make You Successful?**
- Undergraduate (penultimate year) pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Policy or International Relations
- Adaptable, motivated, and has initiative and a “can do” attitude, with a strong interest in geopolitics and technology
- Able to work with key stakeholders from various departments and across geographies to ensure successful coordination of relevant policy engagement and public outreach efforts.
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics and a meticulous eye for detail, design and imagery.
- Adaptable and willing to learn; self-motivated; and possesses a “can do” attitude
