Senior Finance Executive/finance Executive

The Senior Accounts / Finance Executive is involved in most, if not all, aspects of accounting and oversees the day-to-day activities of the accounting team. He/She ensures that the organisation’s finance function is well-organised as well as produces timely and accurate financial statements and management accounts, thus achieving compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. He/She also analyses data and understands the financial performance and position of the organization in order to develop suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements and to produce any special reports required by the management team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for the full set of accounts, from journal posting, preparation, and closing of monthly accounts and reconciliations until reporting
- Monitoring/ Managing Account Receivables & Payables including issuing cheque payments
- Preparation of year-end audit schedules & timely submission of all statutory obligations such as audited accounts & filing of various returns
- Preparing and doing submissions for government grants
- Liaising with auditors and responding to any queries
- Review, validate & process refunds/reimbursements
- Assist in the annual budget process
- Support in special projects and processes improvement initiatives
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- 3 to 5 years of working experience
- Degree in accounting and any professional finance/accounting qualification
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Prior experience with Navision accounting system is preferred but not required
- Handles tasks independently and within a tight deadline
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
