**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Define APAC go-to-market strategy for core infrastructure aligned to global guidance
- Develop and maintain GTM, technical engagement and deployment patterns for large scale production OCI adoption
- Support Multi-Cloud engagements
- Collaborate with Oracle internal teams and partners - such as Cloud Sales, Cloud Engineering, Cloud Lift Services, Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Consulting and Oracle Partner delivery organisations
- Engage with customers and partners to help design and deploy core infrastructure building blocks for proposed OCI solution.
- Lead marquee engagements and support account activities related to Cloud Native Application Development and workload migration to OCI. Kick start new projects with nominated accounts, focusing on account-specific use cases, enabling customer on how to leverage Oracle Cloud to solve real business problems, and co-developing solutions with customers for production use.
- Contribute to qualification, discovery, solution design, RFP response, solution preparation/demonstration
- Develop and maintain set of contextual demos / sample Terraform / Ansible scripts, leveraging OCI DevOps and Oracle Cloud tooling - to accelerate OCI adoption
- Develop customer-facing and internal content, driving awareness, enablement, and demand generation
- Work closely with marketing to Develop and drive programmatic go-to-market and business development strategies to build pipeline
- Maintain continuously updated view of core infrastructure JAPAC market and competitive landscape
- Maintain knowledge base of customer adoption use cases
- Programmatically drive public references
- Provide feedback to global product development
- Measure and track results
- Drive continuous improvements across regional JAPAC teams
**Experience, Skills and Qualification**:
- Self-driven, motivated, customer outcome focused with proven ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure migration, software re-platforming, systems administration, or migration software vendor solutions for the cloud.
- Hands on with core infrastructure building blocks such as landing zones, bastion hosts, VCNs, compute, storage, network, connectivity solutions etc.
- Comfortable with using Terraform / Ansible / DevOps tooling, script-based automation and working knowledge Java &.NET
- Advanced hands-on experience with infrastructure as code - specifically with Terraform
- Excellent grasp on networking as a service concept and cloud security
- History of successful technical business development / sales consulting / architecture engagements
- Strong technical proficiency with cloud infrastructure and cloud platforms. Experience with major cloud provider and cloud native / containerised platforms desirable
- Experience in selling cloud services in JAPAC market. 5+ years of experience working in a customer facing role with a hyper scale cloud provider desirable
- Excellent communication skill in English. Excellent written / oral / presentation / influencing / objection handling skills.
- Customer focus and proven ability to build relationships
- Consultative selling experience, able to position solutions at an executive level. Be comfortable talking cloud compute, storage, networking, connectivity with the VP of Infrastructure, TCO & business case with the CFO, and cloud strategy and outcomes with the CIO.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, marketing or related field.
**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
