Commonwealth Greens is a local high-tech indoor farm located in the west that uses climate-controlled hydroponics systems to produce and sell ultra-fresh vegetables across Singapore. Commonwealth Greens is a wholly owned subsidiary of Archisen.
**Overview**:
As a Supply Chain Lead (Agriculture), you will work closely with our Production and Commercial teams to spearhead the creation of a new supply chain business unit.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and maintain the production facility.
- Lead and train a team of production operators.
- Manage the production, fulfilment and dispatch processes of agri-inputs and plants.
- Collaborate with Production and Commercial teams to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Develop and maintain detailed inventories of agri-inputs located in the production facility.
- Conduct stock taking and procurement activities.
- Maintain required quantity of raw materials and agri-inputs to optimize production.
- Supplier sourcing and maintain supplier relations with existing suppliers.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers.
- Maintain supply chain related documentation, procedures, and records.
- Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Design and develop the system to manage agriculture materials and inputs (eg. seeds, seed plugs and nutrient media).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree in operation related fields or other relevant technical fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Able to think from all angles and dive deep.
- Able to focus on delivering value to our customers.
- Able to move fast and navigate in uncertain environments.
Meticulous and humble team player.
