TRANSPORT PLANNER (RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM PLANNING)

[What you will be working on]
Would you want to be part of a dynamic team of transport planners who plan the future transportation infrastructure for Singapore?

As a transport planner with our Rapid Transit System (RTS) Planning team, you will be given the unique opportunity to shape the future transportation network of Singapore where you will work closely with other Government agencies to develop transport infrastructure to support future needs of Singapore. You will be involved in developing integrated transport-land use plans, forecast travel demand/patterns, assess community benefits and determine economic & financial performance using various transport models and tools.

In a culture where conversations are free-flowing and highly engaging, you will have the opportunity to identify, develop and evaluate rail infrastructure projects, and work with various teams on cross-cutting domains (civil engineering, data analytics, modellers, economics) to understand business requirements and improve our transport system and policies.

[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in any discipline, preferably in Civil Engineering, Town/Urban Planning, Geography or Data-Related discipline
- Experience in land use planning, transport planning, transport modelling simulation techniques, building models and processing data
- Knowledge of modelling, data analytics, and visualisation software such as EMME/2, Python, Tableau, and ArcGIS or other similar transportation models will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and writing skills
