Communications Manager
We are looking for a dynamic communications manager to join JLL’s Singapore-based communications team. The individual will be responsible for PR and media relations for our Singapore business, working with stakeholders to enhance and protect our reputation as a top global real estate consulting firm.
**Content strategy & PR activities**:
Implement and support the development of content strategies to build the profile of JLL's business in print, broadcast and online media;
Drive high-impact media coverage for JLL’s three main business lines - Work Dynamics, Markets Advisory and Capital Markets;
Support regional and global communications initiatives that build brand awareness and drive consideration of JLL’s services among clients and potential clients;
Proactively monitor property news and trends for ideas; recommend and provide advice on channels for JLL content.
**Digital and social media**:
Proactively push content online and come up with new ways to increase the reach of our news releases via relevant online channels;
Contribute content to JLL’s social media channels;
Write, edit and contribute content to JLL’s external channels, including preparing news releases for publishing on JLL’s website.
**Media monitoring and reporting**:
Monitor and evaluate the firm’s reputation and profile through tracking media coverage;
Conduct media monitoring activities, including reviewing media articles related to JLL and informing business leaders of trends and issues related to their business lines;
Manage quarterly reporting schedule and requirements in partnership with our media monitoring company;
Update media databases and regularly update templates used for news releases and transactional deals.
Key skills
Superior writing skills and attention to detail;
At least five years of experience in media relations, particularly in corporate and business-to-business media;
Strong network of journalist contacts among key Singapore and regional media titles;
Ability to work in a matrix organisation with exposure to colleagues in different countries / regions;
Ability to influence and communicate with senior leadership, managing a variety of demands and priorities within tight deadlines;
Experience in developing a range of content - text, video and graphics;
Collaborative, can-do attitude with a strong interest in working on regional and global projects.
