This person should have strong expertise in Quantitative Consumer Insights with strong technical skills, hands-on experience managing large scale offline general population studies and a good understanding of research solutions for Brand equity/ Health studies, Segmentation, Concept/product tests, Customer Experience and Satisfaction studies.
**Responsibilities**
As a Senior Manager within the Public Sector for Consumer Insights team, your responsibilities and key expectations will include
Insights Delivery
- Review and finalized draft designs (i.e. questionnaires, analytic plans, reports, presentations) prepared by junior team members.
- Translate data to insights, create compelling stories and powerful synthesis of findings to drive high impact business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations.
- Support the Associate Director / Director in driving issue-based analyses, build effective analytical presentations and consultative storytelling to clients and presenting to the clients including C-suite management in a clear and compelling manner.
Client Management
- Lead client communications including providing regular project related updates, answering client queries and providing solutions for client requests.
- Develop strong client relationships and demonstrating a good understanding of the client’s key business issues and concerns..
- Drive overall client satisfaction to achieve high Net Promoter Score (NPS) and a high performing team environment.
Project Management
- Oversee execution of projects end to end (from questionnaire design and data collection, up to delivery of report and presentation)
- Lead and coordinate across operations teams (fieldwork, data processing, programming etc.) to ensure that project milestones are met so that there is on time delivery & quality expectations are met
- Lead regular progress update meetings with relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
People Management
- Team resource management leading to on time delivery & meeting quality expectations
- Facilitate knowledge transfer by acting as an advisor or trainer and source of technical advice for team members and other associates
- Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
- Develop training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
- Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards
- Act as coach, guide, and mentor to employees, driving total independence in managing projects
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences or related fields
- Minimum 5-8 years of market research experience (Agency side preferred).
- Experience in managing a high volume of complex quantitative research studies under tight budgets and schedules.
- Experience in managing large scale general population studies is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intellectually curious, critical thinkers and impact driven.
- Can-do attitude, personally accountable with a reputation for providing clarity and creating positive energy.
